Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb Tilapia or Cod fillets
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use paper towels to pat each fish fillet completely dry to prevent steaming.
- Arrange the fillets on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring 1 inch of space between each piece.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until emulsified.
- Brush the garlic-butter glaze generously over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Place a thin lemon slice on top of each fillet, pressing it gently into the glaze.
- Bake on the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the edges are opaque and the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley.
