Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) frozen white fish fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Arrange the frozen fillets in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving at least 1 inch of space between each fillet for airflow.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Brush both sides of the frozen fillets generously with olive oil to act as a binder for the spices.
- Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over the top and sides of each fillet, pressing lightly to adhere to the surface.
- Place the pan on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes.
- Verify the fish is done when the edges are mahogany-colored, the flesh flakes easily with a fork, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
