Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) frozen white fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Arrange the frozen fillets in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving at least 1 inch of space between each fillet for airflow.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  4. Brush both sides of the frozen fillets generously with olive oil to act as a binder for the spices.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over the top and sides of each fillet, pressing lightly to adhere to the surface.
  6. Place the pan on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes.
  7. Verify the fish is done when the edges are mahogany-colored, the flesh flakes easily with a fork, and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
