  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups extra-sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 green onions, finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 cup pecans, toasted and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, minced
  • 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream with an electric mixer until airy and pale white. Incorporate the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until the mixture is streaks-free.
  2. Fold in the finely grated cheddar cheese and minced green onions by hand. Ensure the cheddar is evenly distributed while maintaining the texture of the shards.
  3. Wrap the cheese mass in plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 10 minutes to flash-chill. Once firm, roll into a sphere and immediately coat in the mixture of toasted pecans, minced parsley, and coarse sea salt until fully covered.
