Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
  • 2 tbsp (28g) melted unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp (3g) salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) black pepper
  • ½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup (28g) superfine almond flour
  • 1 tsp (2g) garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (1g) paprika

Instructions:

  1. Pat each tilapia fillet thoroughly with paper towels to remove all surface moisture, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the grated parmesan cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, and paprika until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Using a pastry brush or spoon, apply a thin layer of melted unsalted butter to the top of each fillet.
  4. Press the buttered side of the fish firmly into the parmesan mixture to create a thick, even coating.
  5. For Air Fryer: Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes. For Oven: Bake at 425°F (220°C) on a parchment-lined sheet for 10–12 minutes until the crust is mahogany-colored and fish flakes easily.
