Ingredients:

  • 6 (6 oz) tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Arrange the tilapia fillets in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving about an inch of space between each fillet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon pepper seasoning, and minced garlic until emulsified.
  4. Season the tilapia fillets lightly with salt and black pepper.
  5. Using a pastry brush or spoon, generously coat the top and edges of each fillet with the lemon butter mixture.
  6. Bake in the center rack for 10–12 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish immediately with fresh chopped parsley, and let the fish rest for 2 minutes before serving.
