Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs Lean Ground Beef (90/10)
- 1 small Yellow Onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Sea Salt
- 0.5 tsp Cracked Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 10.5 oz Low-Sodium Cream of Mushroom soup
- 0.5 cup Low-Fat Sour Cream
- 0.25 cup Skim Milk
- 2 cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, freshly shredded
- 28 oz Frozen Tater Tots
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. As the meat develops a mahogany-colored sear, add the diced onions and minced garlic. Cook until the onions are translucent.
- Drain the excess fat from the skillet into a heat-safe container to ensure a light and crisp finish.
- Stir in the sea salt, cracked black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Add the cream of mushroom soup, low-fat sour cream, skim milk, and frozen mixed vegetables. Mix until well combined and velvety.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it into an even layer.
- Sprinkle the freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single, tight layer across the top of the cheese.
- Bake for 40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and shattering-crisp and the edges are bubbling.
