Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) tilapia fillets
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
  • 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves (9g) garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) paprika
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure an easy cleanup. Pat the tilapia fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure the glaze clings to the fish.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, and paprika. Stir until the sauce is cohesive and the paprika is fully integrated.
  3. Place the fillets on the prepared sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper. Spoon the lemon garlic mixture evenly over each fillet, ensuring the edges are coated.
  4. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Let the fish rest for 2 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
