Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz / 170g) frozen tilapia fillets
- 3 tbsp (42g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves (6g) garlic, minced
- ½ tsp (2.5g) paprika
- ½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
- ¼ tsp (1.2g) cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil, leaving enough overhang on the sides to create a loose tent.
- Whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place the frozen tilapia fillets directly onto the foil. Brush the lemon-butter glaze generously over the top and sides of each fillet.
- Cover the fillets loosely with the foil overhang and bake for 12 minutes to thaw and poach the fish.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the edges are golden and the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) or the meat flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley immediately.
